Omni Sales — operated by Omnipresence Ventures India Private Limited (Rishit Saraf)
Effective Date: February 24, 2026 | Last Updated: February 24, 2026
1. Overview
Omnipresence Ventures India Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates Omni Sales (the "App"), a B2B SaaS platform that provides field force tracking and workforce management capabilities to businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data. The table below describes each data type, why we collect it, and whether your explicit consent is required.
| Data Type | Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number | Account creation, authentication, and communication | Required |
| Organization name & role | Workspace setup and access control | Required |
| Device information (model, OS version, app version) | Troubleshooting, compatibility, and crash reporting | Required |
| IP address | Security, fraud prevention, and approximate geo-location | Required |
| Precise location (GPS) | Real-time field force tracking and route verification | Consent |
| Camera (photos) | On-site proof of visit, task documentation, and attendance | Consent |
| Usage logs (screens visited, actions taken) | Product improvement and analytics | Required |
3. Camera & Location Access
Location (GPS): The App requests access to your precise location solely for the purpose of field force tracking — including recording check-in/check-out at client sites, tracking routes, and verifying on-ground presence. Location data is collected only while the App is in use (foreground) or, if your employer's organization has enabled it, while in the background during active work hours. You are informed of this at the time of permission request. Background location access, if applicable, is disclosed separately and requires an additional consent prompt from your operating system.
Camera: The App requests camera access solely for capturing proof-of-visit photographs, on-site task documentation, and attendance verification. Photos are uploaded to our secure servers and associated with the relevant task or visit record. The App does not access your photo library unless you explicitly choose to upload an existing photo.
Both camera and location permissions follow a consent-first model: the App will always display a clear prompt explaining why the permission is needed before the operating system's permission dialog appears. If you deny permission, the core App remains usable, though certain field-tracking features will be unavailable.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes: providing and operating the App's field force tracking features; authenticating users and managing accounts; generating reports and analytics for your organization's administrators; improving App performance, stability, and user experience; communicating service updates, security alerts, and support responses; and complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for ad targeting, or selling to data brokers. We follow a data minimization principle: personally identifiable information is stored only to the extent required for login authentication and account management. All other data is either de-identified, aggregated, or discarded after its operational purpose is served.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
With your employer/organization: Your organization's administrators can access your field data (location logs, visit photos, task records) as part of the workforce management functionality they have subscribed to. This access is governed by your employer's own policies.
Service providers: We may engage a limited number of trusted service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, crash analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations. These providers are required to protect your data to the same or higher standard described in this policy.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, access controls and role-based permissions, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and secure authentication mechanisms.
While no system is perfectly secure, we are committed to protecting your data and will promptly notify affected users and relevant authorities in the event of a data breach, as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Typical retention periods are: login credentials and account identifiers are retained for the duration of your active account plus 90 days after a deletion request (this is the minimum PII we must retain for authentication); field data (location logs, photos) is retained per your organization's configured retention period and de-identified where feasible; and usage analytics are retained only in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements. Portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances. Objection: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes. Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent (e.g., camera, location), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@omnipresence.in. We will respond within 30 days (or sooner if required by your local law).
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.
For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Our legal bases for processing are: contract performance (providing the service), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), and consent (camera, location). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is a B2B workforce management tool and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or reliance on an adequacy decision, or other lawful transfer mechanisms recognized under applicable data protection laws.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an in-app notification or email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
